Bios

Ellen is writer and comedian who spent most of her twenties being a “rock star” in indie pop band Los Campesinos! Ellen has written and performed two acclaimed solo shows at the Edinburgh Fringe (IT'S BETTER TO LIE THAN TO TELL THE TRUTH AND END UP ALONE IN A DITCH CRYING & JEAN-LUC PICARD AND ME)  and hosts comedy fan fiction night Dear Harry/Spock. She is a member of the 2018/2019 BAFTA x crew and her short STAGES is being streamed on Comedy Central. Ellen’s first feature THE PHOTOGRAPHIC MEMORY RECALLS THE HIGHLIGHTS OF THE YEAR was supported by The Wellcome Trust Development Awards and last year she wrote the screenplay and accompanying novella for Phillipp Humm’s THE LAST FAUST.

Oliver is a writer and director in film and theatre. He made a micro-budget feature film aged 23, and has since worked on everything from children’s animation to music videos and commercials. This summer he is shooting his first major feature film as writer-director, SCHOOLS OUT, as well as bringing Don’t Be Terrible to the Edinburgh Fringe. In television, Oliver has worked extensively as a 2nd Unit Director and Visual Effects supervisor on shows such as PATRICK MELROSE, CRAZYHEAD, BEECHAM HOUSE and WAR OF THE WORLDS.

Theatre credits include: Tempest (RSC), Jane Eyre (National Theatre, Bristol Old Vic), Much Ado About Nothing (Watford Palace Theatre), Some Girls (Park Theatre), Spokesong (Finborough Theatre), Titus Andronicus (Greenwich Theatre), Macbeth (R-ft Theatre, site-specific)

Film includes: Wasp (Philippe Audi-Dor, won best actress at Filmout San Diego), IT (Cavan Clerkin).

TV includes: Years & Years (BBC1), Eastenders (BBC), The Six Wives with Lucy Worsley (BBC)

Amy trained at LAMDA. Her acting credits include Square Rounds (Finborough Theatre), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Lyric Hammersmith), Twelfth Night (Filter Theatre), Shakespeare in Love (West End), To Sir, With Love (The Touring Consortium) Doctors (BBC), Downton Abbey (ITV), Confection (Misfit Studios), Big Day (Teng Teng Films) and The Hippopotamus (Electric Shadow Company).

 

Amy is an Associate Artist of the Willow Globe Theatre, where her credits include Love Labour’s Lost, Taming of the Shrew, The Tempest, As You Like It and where she will be playing Juliet in this year’s Romeo and Juliet.

 

This is Amy’s directorial debut.

Daniel's recent appearances include a nationwide tour of SHERLOCK HOLMES and the feature film David Blair's MISSION OF HONOR (HURRICANE).

​

Further credits include award-winning web series DARREN HAS A BREAKDOWN (Maws Productions) and feature film VANDALIS (Wheelhouse Productions). He has been involved in various workshop performances including THE WOMAN IN WHITE (Really Useful Group) and PRETTY BROKEN PUNKS.

​

Daniel trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Roles whilst in training include Petruccio (Taming of the Shrew), Bolingbroke (Richard II), Cliff (Cabaret) and The Baker (Into the Woods).
